Plasticizer

Plasticizer adalah material yang ditambahkan untuk meningkatkan beberapa sifat / properties dari polymer, misalnya kemampuan kerja (workability), ketahanan terhadap panas (heat resistance), ketahanan terhadap temperatur rendah (low-temperature resistance), ketahanan terhadap cuaca (weathering resistance), sifat insulasi (insulation properties), ketahanan terhadap minyak (oil resistance), etc.

Berbagai plasticizer digunakan untuk tujuan-tujuan tersebut. Terutama phtalic ester yang digunakan oleh banyak produk sebagai plasticizer multifungsi.

    wah, plasticizer juga dipakai dalam tekbologi beton lho…
    fungsinya buat menambah kekakuan beton… baru tahu ternyata belajar plasticizer ribet juga yah, kriting juga tuh lihat rumus kimianya. Kalau di teknologi betin mah cukup dipajari gunanya bagi sifat-sifat beton yang ingin dibangun.

    Untuk rekan2 di teknik material mohon bantuannya apakah mungkin membuat tangki cpo dengan lantai beton dan dinding plat besi (ini dilakukan untuk menghemat bahan plat besi karena di existing lokasi pembuatan tangki sudah ada cor an lantai beton tebal yang mampu menahan beratnya tangki dan crude palm oil isinya). pertanyaan nya adalah apakah beton nya perlu diplester dengan beton khusus lagi untuk menghindari perembesan minyak (kalaupun ada) dan bagaimana merekatkan plat besi dengan beton supaya water proof. Suhu kerja tangki adalah 80 derajat celcius. Mohon di emailkan ke saya jawabannya trims. roberifin@yahoo.com
